Democrats on the run in Wisconsin avoided state troopers Friday and threatened to stay in hiding for weeks, potentially paralyzing a state government they no longer control.
If this is the course of action these whimpering, soiled britches Democrats want to take then I say they should not be allowed to return to their jobs. What kind of "public servants" are these?
Why are Democrats so unreasonable?
Let's recap the situation in Wisconsin. The state is in a budget crisis. Governor proposes meager cuts to union teacher benefits, still leaving them far above the average private sector worker's benefits. Union Democrat teachers refuse to teach so they can riot like immature children because now they will only make 95,000 dollars a year instead of 100,000! They exploit their students by bringing them along to the DNC organized protest. Dem lawmakers, knowing they don't have the votes to win, decide to skip town and avoid casting a vote, crossing over the border into Illinois like an outlaw into Mexico. What complete and utter nonsense!
Naturally, our fearless leader backs up those who would bankrupt the state further so they can make more money than they deserve, at the expense of the taxpayer. The ironic part? These crooks, losers, and crybaby infants claim to be the party who fights for the lower and middle class, yet their actions speak louder on the contrary. Now, instead of making these meager cuts in union benefits, the state will be forced to lay people off. They don't seem to understand that part.Democrats, and many Republicans, have this wild idea that money can be wished for out of thin air. They support an unsustainable model that will lead only to bankruptcy and disaster. We see this on local, state, and national levels.
These cowardly Democrats who refuse to do their job should be brought in by the US Marshals, arrested, tried, convicted, and sent to prison!

And living here in Wisconsin doesn't help for understanding it, either. The only thing that strikes me is that the Dems know they're outnumbered and outgunned, so the only thing they could think of was to take an impromptu and inappropriate vacation (kinda like Obama does when things get heavy).
On the arrest and jailing thing, somebody in comments at another blog brought up Statute 946.2, which, if I'm reading it right, means the Dems are guilty of a Class E felony.
It is sad that the state of WI has come down to this. However the Democrats are completely in the right here. The Governor is of his rocker and needs to be stopped. Them leaving is nothing different then the Republicants fillabustering every vote in the US congress. The people you should be mad at are the people trying to destroy the state of WI> The idiots that call themselves republicans.
Um, there's at least one difference, mikedahl - the filibuster is completely legal, whereas abandoning your duly elected and called job isn't, as Hack points out in the post after this one.
